James White is one of St John’s First Fleeters. White came to the colony as a convict transported per Scarborough (1788). He died at Parramatta, aged 37, on 26 February 1795 and was buried the following day, on 27 February 1795. White’s grave is unmarked, therefore the exact location of his grave in the cemetery is unknown.
